NedMobiel is a driving force in (private) infrastructure and transport. We do this by - amongst other things - acting as consultant and project manager to government bodies, companies and interest groups. As well as consultancy and project management for such parties, NedMobiel works to actually execute designed solutions through risk-bearing participation in projects and companies. NedMobiel works from three areas of expertise:

1. Public Private Partnership
   Our consultants advise consortia and government bodies on the financing and (DBFM) structuring of projects, assist our clients in developing and executing contracting and tendering strategies and are deployed on a temporary basis for the risk and project management of complex projects. Our approach is thereby that we must not only come up with elegant solutions, but also ensure that they are implemented ‘in the real world’.
2. Operation and maintenance of complex infrastructure
   Our experts develop maintenance strategies and are also able to implement these and manage them at operational level. The guiding principle is thereby the symbiosis of a sound technical/financial analysis (RAMS, FMECA, LCC) and the user’s wishes and requirements. One important element of our expertise is (tunnel) safety, including implementation of the WARVW training and the training of road inspectors and staff in the traffic control centre and the design and implementation of procedures. NedMobiel is closely involved in the transition from building project to managed object.
3. Tolls and pricing
   Tolls and road pricing are developing rapidly in the Netherlands. NedMobiel is involved in various projects in this area, often through our subsidiary Movenience. This ranges from electronic toll collection at the Westerscheldetunnel and setting up and managing a number of Spitsmijden (Avoiding Peak Hours) projects through to the preparation of a business case for a Service Provider for the Kilometerprijs kilometre charge. We also manage traffic studies for the purpose of financing toll roads.

Our projects require a multidisciplinary approach with attention for the in-depth (technical) content of complex infrastructure and project interests. Our staff reflect this approach: NedMobiel consists of a mixture of experienced project leaders & experts and young creative junior staff. Staff with a civil, mechanical and electrical engineering background work together in teams with management consultants, lawyers and public administration experts.

NedMobiel is actively involved with the Dutch umbrella organisation for toll operators, the European umbrella organisations for road operators and toll companies ASECAP, the Dutch PPP knowledge network and the International Project Finance Association.

NedMobiel regularly funds and publishes its own Unsolicited Proposals.
